Breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day and I’m perpetually puzzled by people who ignore it. The last time I skipped breakfast I left my phone on top of my car and drove off, forgot to put shoes on my child then dropped her off at school, didn’t wash the conditioner out of my hair, sounded like I just had a lobotomy on a conference call with a client, and almost set the house on fire cooking dinner. Sometimes a sandwich is so good that you have to talk about it. This one comes from the one and only Martha Stewart team and I thought I’d share. It’s simply a little ham, pear, gruyere and arugula… pressed together (don’t you love my expensive and top of the line panini press?)… to form one of the most delicious, mouthwatering, salty and sweet, heavenly sandwiches on this planet.
