Slow Cooker Hot Ciders

Slow Cooker Hot Apple Pie Cider

Baby it’s cold outside and I had a tragic mishap with my sock monkey slippers while at the Mixed Conference in Virginia last week! More on all of that fun a little later. Amidst all of my fun running around the Mountain Lake Lodge (the same one from the movie Dirty Dancing), both of my sock monkey slippers met their tragic end and withered away in a pile of snow. Who knew sock monkeys don’t like snow?

Slow Cooker Citrus Cider

Now, I’ve got freezing toes and although my socks aren’t doing as good a job as those slippers would, these hot ciders are working their magic to warm me up! I created both of these ciders for Imperial Sugar just in time for the holiday season. Created in a slow cooker and perfect to serve at parties or to have steaming on the counter on a cold day, a warm glass of fragrant hot cider is just the thing to get you in the holiday spirit. Trust me I’ll be knocking a few back maybe with a splash of brandy to keep me warm until I can find a new pair of sock monkeys to grace my feet. Cheers!
